Do you have iBooks on your iPad?

If yes, then you don't need another app to open and read PDF files.

Open iTunes > go to File > click Add to library > select the PDF files,

then you will see all added PDFs listed under Books in Library > choose the PDF files and check the Sync Books option.

Now you can open iBooks on iPad to view the PDF files.
